  • If you have a child that will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2018, live in district, and plan to send them to MPGS for kindergarten, please take a moment to complete this online survey. You will be contacted to set up a kindergarten screening. Screenings will occur on Friday, April 6.
  • If you have a child that qualifies for preschool next school year, screenings will be conducted on Thursday, April 26. The child must live in district and be 3 years old on or before September 1, 2018. To schedule an appointment, call the grade school office.

  • Friday, May 18: Promotion Ceremony for 8th grade students. The ceremony begins at 6:30 PM in the MPGS Gym.
  • You can still order school pictures! You can order online using code 18804HB. 
  • We serve breakfast! It starts at 7:45 a.m. each school day. Cost for breakfast is $1.50 or $0.30 for students who qualify for reduced-priced meals.  Students who qualify for free lunches are eligible for free breakfast.

  • The bus barn phone number is 217-792-5687. This number receives text messages and calls. Please text or call the bus barn if your child will not be riding as usual.

  • The Technology Department recycles used inkjet cartridges and laserjet cartridges throughout the entire school year. Toner, cell phones and ribbons are not accepted. Feel free to drop off items in the school office for the recycling program.
