- REGISTRATION: All parents are encouraged to register their grade 9 through 12 children in the High School Office for the upcoming school year during the following registration times:
Tuesday, August 11th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm
Thursday, August 13th from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm
Current registration forms can be found here. Forms will also be available at registration. If you have additional questions, feel free to call the school office between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm beginning August 3rd.
- Attention 2015 graduates: Graduation pictures may be picked up when the office re-opens August 3rd between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm.
- Attention Returning Students: Schedule changes for the 2015-16 school year will be made by appointment only - not over the phone and not via email! You can call the office beginning August 10th to schedule an appointment with Miss Hinson. Appointments will not be made via email. Please note that 5th hour courses are not set in regards to 5A or 5B lunch, regardless of what it says on your schedule. This means there will likely be changes in which courses meet 5A and which courses meet 5B. No schedules will be changed to accomodate lunch requests. Schedules will be available on TeacherEase in early July.
- TeacherEase is inaccessible for students/parents who have a remaining balance on their accounts. The office reopens for fee collection on August 3rd from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm.
- Friday, August 14th - Sunday, August 23rd: Trams at the State Fair - This is our biggest school-wide fundraiser. Click here for shift details. For parking passes and to sign up, read the details and please do not call City Hall.
- Tuesday, August 25th: Freshman Orientation at 2:00 pm. All incoming freshman are encouraged to attend. Parents may attend also.
- Wednesday, August 26th: First day of student attendance! The tardy bell rings at 8:02 am. Please be responsible and arrive at school prior to the tardy bell in order to get your school year off to a great start!
- MPHS Particpates in Prairie Farms Our Caps Your Cause! On Prairie Farms milk caps, peel back the sticker on top of the cap to find the unique code. Enter the cap codes online and choose Mt. Pulaski High School when prompted.

- Parent/Student signature pages must be returned to the school office prior to the first day of school for your student to be issued an iPad. Payment for the Personalized Learning Initiative Protection Plan is required in order for your child to bring an iPad home from school daily. Parents need to read through the PLI Handbook with their child(ren).

- Unlike current state assessments, the PARCC assessments will provide information on the full range of knowledge and skills needed to be career and college ready or on track toward that goal. Guidelines for Interrupted School Days
- Citation 105 ILCS 5/18-12 states "Interrupted days may not be pre-announced. All school districts have access to various media outlets to announce early dismissal/school closings to inform parents and allow them to arrange alternative child care arrangements as necessary." Please be aware of the possibility that early dismissals due to excessive heat will be made on the day of the dismissal. Keep informed by checking the media outlets listed in the Student Handbook, by signing up to receive email alerts via TeacherEase, or by checking the school Facebook page.
