Parents and Guardians,

The COVID-19 pandemic has required a tremendous amount of flexibility and adaptation.  Our goal at Mount Pulaski Grade School and High School is to see students in person. However, our ultimate goal is to keep students and staff healthy, and we are working diligently to do so.  We are also in constant contact with the Logan County Health Department and are trying to keep up with the CDC guidelines that are constantly changing.

The health and safety priorities mandate that if a student is home with a symptom of COVID-19, or multiple symptoms, or are being sent home due to symptoms, then the other household contacts within the school should also stay home or be sent home.  Unfortunately, many symptoms of COVID-19 are also symptoms of many other common Illnesses. People with COVID-19 have a wide range of reported symptoms and they range from mild to severe.  Some may even be asymptomatic.

Please help us to keep everyone healthy.  Remind your children to wear their mask and keep it over their mouth and nose. Remind them to keep their fingers off of their mask.  If they touch the outside of their mask then they need to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer.  Continue to social distance.  We will continue to remind them at school, but we all should be working toward the common goal of keeping everyone healthy.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
