NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE FOR MT. PULASKI
I. A public hearing to approve a propsed property tax levy increase for Mount Pulaski, Logan, Sangamon, Dewitt, and Macon/Menard Counties, Illinois for 2025 will be held on December 17, 2025 at 119 North Garden Street, Mt. Pulaski, IL 62548 at 7:00PM.

II. The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abated for 2024 were $8,636,347
The proposed corporate and special purposed property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $10,361,331. This represents a 19.97% increase over the previous year.
III. The property taxes extended for debt services and public building commission leases for 2024 were $804,241
The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service and public building commison leases for 2025 are $790,813
IV. The total property taxes extended or abated for 2024 were $9,440,588
The extimated total property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $11,152,144. This represents a 18.13% increase over the previous year.
