Mount Pulaski High School Announces Alumni Hall of Fame Nominations Now Open
Mount Pulaski, IL — Mount Pulaski High School is proud to announce the launch of its Alumni Hall of Fame, honoring graduates who have made exceptional contributions to society and exemplify the district’s mission to Inspire, Engage, and Empower.
The Hall of Fame will recognize individuals from Mount Pulaski High School and its predecessor schools—Elkhart and Chestnut High Schools—as well as individuals who left school to serve in the military during World War II or earlier.
A special category for Non-Athletic Contributions to Society will highlight alumni who have demonstrated excellence in fields such as education, public service, business, the arts, science, and humanitarian efforts.
“We are an innovative, high-performing community that produces globally-minded, influential citizens,” said district leadership. “This Hall of Fame is an opportunity to celebrate alumni who truly embody those values and serve as role models for our students.”
Community members, alumni, staff, and families are encouraged to submit nominations. Nominees must have been out of high school for at least 10 years and demonstrate a lasting impact, strong leadership, and alignment with the district’s core values of integrity, respect, and community partnership.
Nomination forms are available online. Completed nominations must include detailed information explaining how the nominee meets the selection criteria.

PURPOSE OF THE AWARD
The Non-Athletic Contributions to Society Award recognizes alumni who have made significant, lasting contributions beyond athletics that reflect the district’s commitment to:
Inspiring and empowering others
Demonstrating integrity, respect, and service
Contributing meaningfully to their community, profession, or society
Embodying the spirit of Inspire – Engage – Empower
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Nominees must meet ALL of the following:
Be a graduate of:
Mount Pulaski High School
Elkhart High School
Chestnut High School
OR left high school (one of the above listed) to serve in the military during World War II or earlier
Have been out of high school for at least 10 years
Be in good standing within their community and profession.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Nominees will be evaluated based on the following areas:

Demonstrated significant contributions to society in areas such as:
Education
Public service
Military service
Business/industry
Arts & culture
Science/innovation
Philanthropy or humanitarian efforts
2. Leadership & Influence
Evidence of leadership roles or influence within their field or community

Service to others and community partnership
4. Legacy & Recognition
Lasting impact or body of work
