iPad Skills

This video is for parents of students in grades K through 5 at Mt. Pulaski Grade School. Due to social distancing, and time constraints, students need to be able to perform these iPad skills independently  before school starts next week. Please spend 5 minutes each day this week allowing your child to practice these skills under your supervision.

Skills to practice with your child:

1. Turning on the iPad.

2. Logging into the iPad.

3. Turning the iPad completely off.

4. Opening the iPad stand.

5. Closing the iPad stand.

6. Using the charger safely and correctly. It is recommended that parents of K-5 students always supervise their child(ren) when using the charging components. Additionally, it is suggested that parents store cables in a safe, central location, and not allow students to charge/keep their iPad overnight in their bedroom(s). When finished with schoolwork, and when fully charged, turn the iPad off and place it in a backpack for the next day of school.
