NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF SECTION 17-1.5 OF THE ILLINOIS SCHOOL CODE-LIMITATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of Mt. Pulaski Community Unit School District No. 23, Logan County, Illinois, will conduct a public hearing regarding the District's intent to submit a request for a waiver of Section 17-1.5 of the Illinois School Code (105 ILCS 5/17-1.5), pertaining to the limitation of administrative costs for Fiscal Year 2027, pursuant to Section 2-3.25g of the Illinois School Code.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public testimony and comments concerning the District's proposed request to exceed the statutory limitation of a five percent annual increase in administrative expenditures.

Location: Mount Pulaski Grade School, 119 North Garden Street, Mount Pulaski, IL 62548
All interested persons, including district employees, parents, students, and community members, are invited to attend and provide testimony regarding the proposed waiver request.
Following the public hearing, the Board of Education may consider action authorizing submission of the waiver application to the Illinois State Board of Education.
