Dear Partners in Education,

My name is Jason Spang, and it is an honor to serve the Mount Pulaski School District as the Superintendent of Schools. I am excited to welcome back all our students, staff, and families for another school year full of opportunities. Our yearly focus is to aspire to achieve excellence in everything we do. We are committed to working diligently with our students to help them reach their fullest potential daily. Our work guides our district vision statement of empowering our students to be innovative, high-performing, globally-minded, and influential citizens.

Consistent with previous years, our district collaborates with stakeholders to create school handbooks to outline expectations that guide our day-to-day interactions and how we foster relationships with our students. Our district's mission is to engage and inspire to become mindful and productive citizens who promote growth and success for all students. Please review this handbook to familiarize yourself with our systems and procedures.

Maintaining excellent communication with families is of paramount importance in our district. We encourage you to share your thoughts and welcome innovative ideas so that we may provide your students with the best learning atmosphere possible
