At the Mt. Pulaski CUSD #23 Board Meeting on Wednesday, January 21, the inaugural Hilltopper Medallion was awarded to Mr. Dean Cates. Mr. Cates was nominated for this award by Chris Brown who cited Mr. Cates's engagement within the community. He went on to say that his service to our country as an Army veteran, his mentorship of students and his constant presence at Mt. Pulaski sporting events (home and away!), Mr. Cates is an "inspiration to all."
The selection committee unanimously chose Mr. Cates for the receipient of this award. Congratulations!
