Jayden Cherry, daughter of Amy Cherry and Randy Cherry, has been named October-Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski High School.

            During her time at MPHS Jayden has participated in numerous clubs and activities. She has been a member of FFA for 4 years, currently serving as the Sentinel. She participated in Yearbook and Cheerleading for 3 years, FCCLA and NHS for 2 years, and Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball for 1 year. She has also been a member of Zion Lutheran Church for 4 years. 

            Jayden has earned her Greenhand award and Chapter Pin for FFA. She has also been on honor roll consistently all 4 years.

            Jayden has worked at the Dairy Bar, Gro-Alliance, and has babysat for people in the community. She has helped with Fall Fest setup and the Mikah Martin fundraiser. She also was a volunteer volleyball coach at Zion and worked in the MPHS Spanish class coffee shop. 

            Jayden plans to attend Lincoln Land Community College and study Cardiovascular Sonography.  

The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman Service and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by INB.
