Scout Tschantz, daughter of Rex and Bethany Tschantz, has been named November-Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski High School.

Scout has stayed actively involved in sports and extracurriculars during her time at MPHS. She has played Volleyball and Softball for 4 years. She has also participated in FFA (Parliamentarian Junior year and President Senior year) and Yearbook for 4 years. She has been a member of FCCLA for 3 years, NHS for 2 years (currently serving as Vice President), and is on Spirit Squad.  Scout has also played travel softball for 4 years.

Scout has been on Straight A Honor Roll every semester. She also made the MSM All-Conference softball 2nd team her Sophomore year and 1st team her Junior year. She also was named to the 2A All-State Softball 2nd team her Junior year. She has received multiple team and individual awards through FFA.

Scout has volunteered with the Freshman Bootcamp at MPHS, Christmas on Vinegar Hill, Volleyball camp, MPHS Day of Service, TCSVMP Softball camp, Spanish 3 Coffee Shop, and the FCCLA Blood Drive. She also helps with the Mount Pulaski Christian Church Vacation Bible School, has helped at the Mt. Pulaski Library, and has helped with the Special Olympics.

Scout plans to attend college and pursue a degree in Agriculture.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman Service and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc.. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by INB.
