On Friday, March 25th, twelve talented MPHS art students had the opportunity to visit the Beyond Van Gogh exhibit in St. Louis, MO. The students have been excited for weeks. The production was a truly memorable experience and lived up to its reviews. The students and I felt like we were standing inside Vincent Van Gogh's most famous masterpieces. Before the trip, the students took an in-depth look into the life and art of this famous impressionist painter. Next week, the students will recreate one of his most famous paintings using oil on canvas. I would strongly recommend witnessing this unique combination of art and technology, and I'm positive the students agree.
