The Board of Education celebrated Eric Cooper, the December Senior of the Month, at tonight's meeting. Eric is the President of the FFA. He is also a member of National Honor Society and the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Eric participates in cross country, basketball, and baseball all while maintaining his placement on the straight A Honor Roll.
The Board of Education celebrated Kya Matson tonight as the December Athlete of the Month. Kya is a Senior leader on the Cheer team and also participated at Unity Christian in football cheer in the fall. Kya is pictured here with her current coach, Miss Powell, and also with her family and close friend.
Yesterday MPHS Spanish Club students kicked off finals week with a "fiesta" where they were able to sample some drinks and snacks from the Spanish speaking world.

Congratulations to this fantastic study hall group for winning the door decorating contest with Frosty the Factor-Man! A shout out to Elayna for her drawing of a snowman that led to the prize winning idea. Great teamwork by everyone tying it together with our math classes. 👏
