Your brand new MPHS Cross Country team was out on the track at sunrise today! This is going to be a fun season!

The September school board meeting will take place on the 4th Wednesday, September 24, 2025 instead of the 3rd Wednesday.

Now is the best time to order a yearbook! This is the lowest price point for the year and ordering now allows you to add four free icons if you personalize your cover! Get your order in before the price goes up! ALSO, NEW THIS YEAR, you can contribute your own photos to be considered for the yearbook by scanning the upload code!

Due to this mornings power outage: All indoor sports, open gyms, golf and Junior High Baseball are canceled. Outdoor sports may still hold optional practices at their originally scheduled times. MPHS will be hosting a career fair! We plan to hold this career fair on October 9, 2025, from 8:30-11:00 am at Mount Pulaski High School. We are hoping to have an exceptionally diverse group of businesses and community members represented at our fair and would like you to consider being a part of it. Not all students choose the same path after high school, so we want to have a broad spectrum of opportunities that they can look into. MPCUSD #23 faculty engaged in professional development today to gear up for another great school year! We are looking forward to adding students to the buildings this Wednesday. It's almost the first day of school!

Here's the first week of school at a glance. It's quickly approaching and we are so excited to welcome the students back to school! Monday: Grades 10, 11, and 12 students who have not yet picked up their Chromebook and selected a parking spot must do so in the office between 10:00am - noon OR from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Freshman bootcamp begins at 5:30pm until 8:00pm. Feel free to bring items to place in lockers at this time. Parents should plan to be in attendance for the first 30 minutes of this meeting. Wednesday: First day of school! The doors will unlock at 7:50am, tardy bell rings at 8:10am. We will be having our back to school bash on this day. We will be utilizing the pool at the Park District so you'll want to bring your swimming attire and a towel. We will enjoy some outdoor games and lunch will be served, feel free to bring a sack lunch if you prefer. This is a 2:05pm dismissal day. **Student council elections and voting will be done on this day. If you want to run for Student Council, bring your speech and present it to your class in the morning before the festivities begin!** Thursday: Doors open at 7:50am. Tardy bell rings at 8:10am. School dismisses at 2:05pm. Friday: Doors open at 7:50am. Tardy bell rings at 8:10am. School dismisses at 2:05pm. **This will be the last day to make a schedule change (drop/add a class).
