
Parents and Guardians:
This is a reminder that when it is listed we have an 11:30 dismissal that the grade school actually dismisses at 11:23 and the high school at 11:30. This is to allow the staggered dismissals just like we do on a regular day. Just wanted to remind everyone of that. Please remember to arrive by 11:23 to pick up your child at the grade school on early dismissal days. We have an early dismissal this Friday March 8th!

March is Music in Our Schools Month. For this month we will feature staff members who did music in school. Today will feature Mrs. Smith and Ms. Awe who both teach 5th grade. Mrs. Smith played clarinet and piano in elementary school, junior high, and high school. She also sang in choir in junior high and high school and played piano in college. Ms. Awe played clarinet in junior high.



The JH Dance has been rescheduled for Friday, March 22, 2024 in the GS Cafeteria from 7-9pm. The cost is $5 per person at the door.


March is Music in Our Schools Month. For this month, we will feature staff members who did music in school. Today will feature Mrs. Elliott and Ms. Z who are our title program. Mrs. Elliot has done flute from elementary school to college along with percussion in high school, piano in college, and choir in junior high. Ms. Z did clarinet from elementary school through college along with piano in elementary school and choir in grade school.



Congrats to all students who participated in the Logan County solo and ensemble on Friday March 1st at Chester-East Lincoln. We had 36 students in band and choir who were in 5th-8th grade participate. Out of the 29 entries our school had, we had 7 two ratings and 22 one ratings.

March is Music in Our Schools Month. Please check out the music hallway to see what famous celebrities did music while they were in school. Come and see music careers that you can do. Our school will also feature staff members who did music while they were in school.

Today is Safer Internet Day! This day is globally recognized each year to celebrate positive digital citizenship, promote responsible online behavior, and raise awareness for a safer internet. Today serves as a friendly reminder for parents and adults to take a SMART approach in regards to a child's access to devices, screen time, social media use, and online gaming.

Tuesday, Jan. 23 will be an eLearning day for Mt. Pulaski CUSD 23.
Freezing rain is expected into the overnight and temperatures at or near freezing will make morning travel potentially dangerous. All Mt. Pulaski School buildings are closed for in-person learning and students should follow eLearning protocol.
Information on evening events and practices will be determined tomorrow.
