Elkhart busses are combined this evening.

MPGS is hosting vendors for Christmas on Vinegar Hill. This is a HUGE fundraiser for our school. PASE will be conducting a Cookie Walk. This is a fun and profitable event. Each year people look forward to our cookie walk. We are always given compliments on what our school families generously contribute.
PASE is asking each family to please provide homemade baked goods (the equivalent of 4 dozen). We gladly accept all types of items such as: breads, muffins, brownies, cookies, rice crispy treats, snack mix or any other homemade item. The goal is homemade. Please, no store bought! Please send them to school on Friday, 11/17/23. You can drop the baked goods off in the office during school hours or after 3:10 PM, please take the items to the cafeteria through the back entrance. You may choose to drop off Saturday morning 11/18/23. If so, please enter through the back doors to the cafeteria between 7 AM and 9 AM.
Please have all cookies in a non-returnable container. If you make something special (like gluten free items), please label them as such. If you send a good container, make sure you have your name on the container. You can pick your container up either Saturday afternoon or Monday in the school office.
Thank you for helping out!
Kara Davis, PASE Co-President

This Week in Sports at MPGS!!!

There is no school at MPGS or MPHS tomorrow, November 3, due to additional/compounded water issues. Parents/Guardians/Students should check their email for more details.

The boys home game for tonight has been moved to New Berlin.

Unfortunately, we are cancelling school for Thursday, November 2 (tomorrow), due to the water main break. This decision is based on the most current information from the water company.
There will be no athletic practices or home athletic events either.
An attempt will be made to reschedule the boys junior high basketball game. The coach will send out information as it is available.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Currently the city of Mt. Pulaski is under a boil order due to a water main break. At this time we still plan to be in session tomorrow, barring any further problems.
Please send a water bottle with your child tomorrow if possible. There will also be bottled water made available in each building.
Please contact your building principal with any questions or concerns when the offices re-open tomorrow.

JH Boys Basketball Spirit Wear...
Apparel orders placed prior to 10/13 through the online store supporting the Jr. High Boys Basketball team are in! Pickup will be available today at the MPGS gym following practice from 5:30-5:45pm or tomorrow (11/2) during the season opening home game beginning at 6pm. If you are unable to make either of these times please email Coach Larson at dlarson@mtpulaski.k12.il.us to set up different arrangements.

This quarter, MPGS staff members have been "shouting out" great things about their co-workers. When you come in tonight and tomorrow for parent/teacher conferences, we'd like for you to "shout out" your child's teachers and staff members. Look for the table when you come into the school building. There will be examples of what to write and all the materials needed for you will be waiting for you. Fill out as many as you would like for your child's teachers or any staff member. Be sure to check out the shout outs that are already outside the classroom doors and see how awesome our staff at MPGS is!!

What a great start to our Book Fair! Tomorrow is the last day to shop. Stop by to shop during Parent Teacher Conferences from 4pm-7pm.
