Does your child need back to school immunizations?

This Friday, the 7th Graders will be at the "2nd Friday Market" for their fundraiser: Water For South Sudan. They will be selling water, soda, and will have a 50/50 raffle, and silent auction items. Attached are some of the baskets that have been donated by the students and staff. Silent Auction themed baskets are "Movie Night, "Chocolate Lovers," "Scentsy," "Pink Zebra," "Stop By And See the New Shelter Insurance and Enjoy Dinner, Drinks and Dessert At My Neighbors; Guzzardos, Spirited Republic and Top Hat Creamery (Gift Cards)." There will also be a Donna Vaughn Cake up for auction as well. Come see the kids and support a good cause.

The 8th graders just finished a unit on the Holocaust. They were able to pick a novel of their choice and represent what they understood by creating a passion project of their choice. The pictures represent what was physically brought in, but the students also created poems, song lyrics that were played on guitar, a Minecraft recreation of Auschwitz, a cake made to depict the inside of a death camp and more. The students really got their "creative juices" flowing.

If you ordered spirit wear from Coach A, your order should be ready sometime early next week. Unfortunately we had to send back the first order because it was defective. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Coach A at janderson@mtpulaski.k12.il.us. Thank you for your cooperation we appreciate your patience .

This is one of the 2 toads that live in the atrium. This is his only water source.

The 7th Graders at MPGS will be at the Second Friday Market, May 14th from 5-8 P.M. to raise money for their Water for South Sudan Fundraiser. They will be selling soda and water, 50/50 raffle and silent auction items. More details to come later.

Miss Powell's class worked hard finding angles around the classroom this morning. They made their own right angle fish and had to find objects that were a perfect right angle, less than a right angle, and greater than a right angle. Who said math can't be fun??

The 7th grade students enjoyed their visit from Deng today. The students learned about Deng’s family and their daily routine to get water. We also learned about his culture in South Sudan.
