My students read books about Thanksgiving and turkeys this week. We made as many words as we could using the letters in Thanksgiving. They also read a recipe for Turkey Donuts, built it, and ate it!

Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to take part in the Topper Christmas Cheer Clinic. The clinic will take place 12/6, 12/9, 12/13, and 12/16 from 5:30pm-7:30pm in the MPHS multipurpose gym, with a performance on 12/17. Cost of the clinic is $45. Registration forms are due 12/3 and can be turned into the grade school or high school office. Parents of students in Pre-K to 4th, our Winter Concert is fast approaching. The concert will be held Wednesday, December 15th at 6pm. Due to current COVID restrictions we are only allowing immediate family to attend, this includes parents/guardians and siblings in the same household only. Please check your email for more details.
The Regional Office of Education #17 is hosting a Substitute Teacher Sign Up Day on Tuesday, December 9 from 9-11am & 1-3pm. Details for what you need to take to sign up can be found on the flyer. If you are interested, but have more questions, please feel free to contact Sarah in District Office, Mrs. Lora at MPGS or Mrs. Fricke at MPHS. Mt. Pulaski CUSD 23 pays substitute teachers $105 per day.
