MPCUSD #23 faculty engaged in professional development today to gear up for another great school year! We are looking forward to adding students to the buildings this Wednesday. It's almost the first day of school!


Here's the first week of school at a glance.
It's quickly approaching and we are so excited to welcome the students back to school!
Monday: Grades 10, 11, and 12 students who have not yet picked up their Chromebook and selected a parking spot must do so in the office between 10:00am - noon OR from 6:30pm-8:00pm.
Freshman bootcamp begins at 5:30pm until 8:00pm. Feel free to bring items to place in lockers at this time. Parents should plan to be in attendance for the first 30 minutes of this meeting.
Wednesday: First day of school! The doors will unlock at 7:50am, tardy bell rings at 8:10am.
We will be having our back to school bash on this day. We will be utilizing the pool at the Park District so you'll want to bring your swimming attire and a towel. We will enjoy some outdoor games and lunch will be served, feel free to bring a sack lunch if you prefer. This is a 2:05pm dismissal day.
**Student council elections and voting will be done on this day. If you want to run for Student Council, bring your speech and present it to your class in the morning before the festivities begin!**

**This will be the last day to make a schedule change (drop/add a class). Changes must be made before the end of the school day with Miss Hinson. Students, you may email her to set up a time to meet.
Monday, August 18 will be the first FULL day of school with a 3:15 dismissal time.

Ms. Edwards joined MPHS in January of 2025. She has been a great addition to the MPHS Special Education Department as a Paraprofessional! Welcome back, Ms. Edwards.

Mrs. Smith joins us as the new Attendance Officer and Administrative Assistant in the Main Office at MPHS! A Topper Alumni, it's great to say "Welcome Home" to Mrs. Smith!


Mrs. Schneider joined us in December of 2024 as the MPHS Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant. We are excited to have her with us!


While he's not new to the district, we are excited for Mr. McVickers to be joining us at the High School this school year as our new Driver's Education teacher!
